TAMAN SETIAWANGSA
Setiawangsa, Kuala Lumpur.

Taman Setiawangsa marked I&P's first foray in property development in Kuala Lumpur. Launched in 1984, this 257-acre freehold township is nearing its completion. Throughout the years, it has given shelter to 2,958 house owners. It has now reached the tail-end of its project, with the launch of 3-storey business suites. This well-known address is splendidly located within Kuala Lumpur City limits and only minutes away from the Petronas Twin Towers.

This mixed development township offers various homes ranging from apartments and double-storey terrace houses to bungalows and bungalow lots. The amenities provided in this township include schools, petrol station, a hypermarket, shopoffices, a mosque, playgrounds and open spaces for recreational activities. Over the years, the value of homes in Taman Setiawangsa has appreciated steadily. An average intermediate double-storey terrace unit in the 1980s fetched around RM144,000, whereas price for a similar terrace unit fetches up to RM500,000. An amazing 247% increase in price. On the same note, the last launch of double-storey terrace houses were priced at RM500,000. Only two years down the road, the value has appreciated to 40%. Taman Setiawangsa has proven that it is indeed, a preferred locale. The estimated GDV for Taman Setiawangsa is RM667 million.
