COMPANY BACKGROUND

I&P Group Sdn. Berhad is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PN B); it was formed in May 2009 after the successful mergers and rationalisation exercise between three companies. The new entity is now known as I&P Group Sdn. Berhad. The constitution gave the I&P Group a standing as one of the few leading developers in Malaysia with vast experience and an impeccable track record in the property business.

This exercise further established the deep-rooted and well-founded strength of the company in total township development while further elevating it as a top property player in Malaysia. This credential is supported not only by its excellent track record, but also by the fact that it has maintained its place in The Edge Top 10 Developers for ten consecutive years as well as having notably won the inaugural TheEdge – PEPS Award for Value Creation for two years in a row.

We have been developing townships since the early years of the nation’s Independence and our track record in completion and delivery, timeliness and quality over the years has garnered appeal, loyalty and confidence in our products.

Some key and current numbers provide a reflection of our integrity and credence as a developer that’s here to stay. To date, we have successfully carried out development on a total of 7,400 acres of land with a balance of 4,600 acres yet to be developed, making a total acreage of 12,000 acres. Upon full completion of the 12,000 acres, we anticipate delivering approximately 95,000 homes to Malaysians with a total expected population of 475,000. In the future, on the remaining 4,600 acres, we anticipate achieving a Total Gross Development Value of RM 25 billion.
